Dental specialists complete two to six extra years of training after dental school and usually work on referral from a general dentist, although most accept patients who call directly. Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Sedation and hospital dentists serve anxious patients and people with special needs, while TMJ and sleep-apnea dentists make oral appliances for jaw pain and snoring.

This place made me suicidal. I cant believe this is my life now. My face is ruined. My bone structure is ruined. My side profile is ruined. My lips are ruined. My jaw is ruined. My perception and confidence in myself is ruined. After 4 extractions done, I genuinely don't know if I will live a long life. I feel like the ugliest human in the world. Why Why did they extract 4 of my teeth? Why is that even an option? Do they not realize how much damage they do when they strip out 4 god-given bones? I hate my smile I hate it hate it hate it. I can't look in the mirror or camera anymore. I am afraid of my face. Sometimes I wonder, if I kept those teeth in would my life be better? Would I be happier in my looks? Would people see a a beautiful face? The only thing saving me is not being able to see myself without an object. Otherwise I would have been long gone. Please do me a favor and never get teeth extracted. I will be stuck with this regret for the rest of my life uptil death.

Dr Cusak may be a decent orthodontist, but damn this place needs some office management. I have had 2 children as patients with Cusak's office. I've never had experience with any other orthodontist, so I can't remark on whether he did a good or bad job, but both kids did have straighter teeth afterwards. So no complaints about his actual work. My low rating is because the office is ran beyond poorly. Things get lost, you get over billed, under billed, someone else's bill, someone else's retainer, you name it, this office has done it. I get that good help isn't cheap, but damn, try paying a little.

My daughter Lily had her braces put on in March and we have had the best experience with Dr Cusack and the entire team. It’s amazing to see so much progress in just a few months. I am so glad we decided to go with Dr Cusack for her orthodontic needs. Everyone is always smiling and the office is always decorated in such fun themes for the holidays! It is truly a very welcoming environment. I would highly recommend Dr Cusack!
